| The Cook School of Intercultural Studies at Biola University invites candidates to apply for a full-time tenure-track position to begin Fall 2010, but open until filled. Ph.D. preferred, but DMiss and ABD candidates will be considered. M.Div. or Th. M. desirable. Specialization must include Islamic Studies. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching primarily undergraduate students and show evidence of high quality scholarly activity. Cross-cultural field experience required. Biola is an Evangelical Christian university located 21 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. The university is committed to integration of faith and learning--where faculty endorse a university-wide statement of Christian faith and community values. Personal commitment to the Christian faith is required.
