| Job Description: |
Primary Responsibilities include: Assist Special Events Manager with all aspects of coordinating special events Conduct orientations, training and supervision of special event volunteer groups Maintaining summary page, spreadsheets and task lists for all special events Manage and coordinate smaller events such as luncheons, dinners and facility site events Assist with coordinating and managing volunteer banquets Design flyers, information sheets, posters, etc. to promote events Manage invitations and RSVPs for all events Coordinate and monitor all GIK inventory Liaison and ambassador of Denver Rescue Mission during all events
Skills and Qualifications: BA degree in Marketing, Communications or related field Willingness to work a flexible schedule during special events Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle multiple projects while working under time constraints Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact with integrity, respect and professionalism with diverse groups of people Good computer skills including proficiency in all MS software Ability to lift and maneuver boxes that may weigh up to 50 pounds Willingness to attend event coordination and training seminars
